Product Manager - Graphene Hall Sensors
Description

This role is responsible for driving forward product strategy ensuring successful commercial delivery of the GHS technology and product line through close liaison with partners, stakeholders and current and potential customers alongside internal communication with the Technology team; defining product requirements, specifications, and capabilities to maximise revenue and return on investment.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Sales Director, Business Development and Technology Teams to develop the product strategy across target markets for the GHS product group to maximise value generation and return on investment from the technology
  • With the commercial team, customer input and knowledge of the GHS develop manage and own the product roadmap for this technology line
  • Drive and champion internally the product development plans to deliver the most valuable product opportunities
  • Manage successful delivery of GHS product developments to target customers and partners
  • With the Marketing and Business Development teams develop in depth understanding of the landscape for GHS technology including markets, technologies, customers, potential opportunities, and competitors to inform commercial decisions
  • Work with the Business Developer and Technology Team to identify and specify potential opportunities for the GHS technology and ways to exploit these
  • Maintain comprehensive market surveillance and identify relevant additional opportunities as the performance of the GHS develops, continually scoping emerging and developing technology fields that may be applicable to the GHS
  • Work closely with all potential customers, partners and external stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of product requirements, specifications and performance needs for review with the Technology Team
  • Champion the customer internally at Paragraf ensuring their requests, comments and needs are being heard and assessed correctly and objectively
  • Work with the Commercial Team to develop clear customer value propositions derived from the features, advantages and benefits of the GHS
  • Work with the Business Development Executive and Technology Team to initiate and manage external partnerships that have clear pathways to valuable opportunities for the GHS whether direct sales or other indirect value delivery mechanisms
  • Represent the Company by clearly and consistently communicating the Company’s mission, values and goals
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline such as business or a science/ engineering/ maths discipline
  • Understanding of technology development and transfer processes
  • Capability to quickly grasp new scientific concepts and technologies with the ability to identify commercial potential

Experience

  • Experience in a key product management role in a technical environment, ideally a semiconductor or electronics environment, , establishing and building relationships internally and externally and coordinating projects successfully
  • Experience of developing and delivering product development projects to customers through liaison with customers and internal and external technology teams
  • The ability to understand and articulate technical concepts and translate these into compelling, commercial, customer focussed communications
  • Experience of working with technical and commercial professionals to plan and deliver opportunities for the technology/ product range
  • Experience of problem solving in a commercial environment, delivering solutions in pressurised and sensitive scenarios
  • Comfortable operating in a highly flexible working environment, enthusiastic about fluid working practices with a proven ability to handle and progress multiple projects efficiently and effectively

  • Knowledge, and ideally experience of, working within the worldwide electronics devices industry would be a strong advantage but is not essential
  • Ability to resolve conflicting demands and views constructively
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take on, understand and analyse technical information quickly

  • Ability to present information clearly and appropriately for the audience
  • Excellent influencing skills through compelling communication and strong writing skills in a technical environment
