Paragraf CEO Named TechWorks Entrepreneur of the Year
5/12/2025 – SOMERSHAM, England – Simon Thomas, Co-Founder and CEO of Paragraf, was named Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2025 TechWorks Awards & Gala Dinner, in recognition of the company’s remarkable growth, expanding product portfolio and market success.
Paragraf, the UK-based company pioneering the commercialization of graphene-based electronics using standard semiconductor processes, was also shortlisted for the Technology Breakthrough Award at the dinner. Having closed a $55m Series C funding round, as well as releasing a new GFET Discovery Kit that allows researchers to explore the functionality of the company’s breakthrough molecular sensor and signing a series of agreements with medical device companies to develop new products built on the GFET platform, Paragraf has enjoyed its most significant newsmaking year to date in 2025.
