PRESS RELEASE: Paragraf Launches PMF2002 GFET Platform and Enterprise Reader, Expanding Sensing Portfolio

Employee Spotlight: Gavin Dodge, Paragraf’s Miracle Machine Man

Huntingdon, UK [18 August 2026] – Paragraf, the Cambridgeshire-based global leader in graphene-based electronics, today announced two significant additions to its sensing portfolio: the PMF2002 Graphene Field-Effect Transistor (GFET) Platform and the Enterprise Reader, an advanced data acquisition system. Together, they provide researchers and diagnostic innovators with a faster, more streamlined pathway from concept to result.

Accelerating innovation in molecular sensing

Designed to work in tandem, the PMF2002 and Enterprise Reader offer a next-generation sensing platform capable of supporting customers across a wide range of applications, such as water quality, soil analysis, gas detection and molecular biosensing. Because the GFET sensing surface is functionalised by the customer, the same platform can be configured to detect whichever species matter to their application. The combined offering reflects Paragraf’s ongoing commitment to making advanced graphene sensing technology more accessible to the researchers and developers shaping the future of sensing.

The PMF2002 is Paragraf’s most advanced 12-channel multiplexing GFET platform to date. Its 12-channel architecture, featuring a common gate with separate source and drain connections, enables simultaneous measurement across multiple sensing channels from a single sample, delivering greater insight from less material in less time.

Complementing the PMF2002 is the new Enterprise Reader, providing direct electronic readouts and real-time analysis, enabling developers to move efficiently from concept to results.

Dr Simon Thomas, CEO and Co-Founder of Paragraf, said: ” The launch of PMF2002 and the Enterprise Reader demonstrates the pace at which Paragraf is turning graphene innovation into commercially available products. Just three months after introducing the PMF2000, we are expanding our sensing portfolio with a fully integrated multiplexed platform that delivers more channels, more capability, and a simpler route to rapid assay development.”

“This is exactly the kind of progress we envisioned when we invested in building the world’s first graphene and 2D materials foundry in Huntingdon. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing capability is now translating into a growing portfolio of market-ready products. PMF2002 and Enterprise are not technology demonstrators; they are commercially available tools that our customers can configure for whichever sensing challenge they are working on.”
