Huntingdon, UK / Pohang, SOUTH KOREA, 14 September 2026 – Paragraf, the world’s first foundry for 2D materials-based electronics, has joined the newly launched K-Graphene Commercialisation Council, becoming the only international company among the consortium’s 26 founding members. The initiative brings together industry, government and research organisations to accelerate the commercialisation of graphene technologies and strengthen South Korea’s position as a global leader in advanced materials.
The K-Graphene Commercialisation Council forms part of a broader government-backed effort to develop South Korea’s graphene ecosystem, including the establishment of the K-Graphene Foundry, a one-stop platform designed to support the development of graphene materials, devices, components and commercial products. The programme is supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources (MOTIR), Gyeongsangbuk-do Province and Pohang City, and is coordinated through the POSTECH Institute for Nano Convergence Technology (NINT).
