Paragraf’s MiST Unlocks Full Range of Graphene Hall Sensors’ Features

Paragraf’s graphene Hall sensors (GHS) employ a sensing element comprising a pristine, one-atom-thick sheet of graphene. Our Multi Sensor Test Unit (MiST) was developed to enable our customers to enjoy the full benefit of this industry-leading technology.

The MiST makes use of a Windows-based software program, with an optional set of software libraries for advanced configurations, that permits operators to  dial in specific, constant current supplies – ranging from 100 nA to 5 mA – to individual sensors. Optimisation functions occurring before the digitisation and transfer of the magnetic field data to the PC (data collection rate up to 20 kHz) include:

  • pre-amplification
  • removal of offset readings from stray fields
  • switching (spinning-current method) function to remove pink (1/f) noise, and any remaining offset components

Paragraf developed the MiST in partnership with Prism Electronics in order to source high-quality components and enable production tailored to the company’s requirements. You can read more about that partnership at https://www.prism-electronics.com/developing-with-prism-electronics/.

If you would like to learn more about the MiST, you can download our sales flyer and reference manual directly from the Paragraf web site. If you’re interested in discussing how your business can benefit from our GHS solutions, paired with the MiST unit, please get in touch with our sales team today.
